Composting Toilets: Pedestals

Nature Loo offers a variety of ceramic and fibre glass pedestals for use with home made DIY toilets and some other waterless composting toilet manufaturer's systems, most of whom do not offer ceramic pedestals. Please check your toilet supplier's dimension requirements before ordering. We have different styles and a choice of ceramic or fibre glass pedestals.

We supply timber or white MDF seats with the ceramic pedestal and solid white MDF toilet seats with the fibre glass pedestal.

All pedestals incorporate a groove in the underside of the base which allows our waste chute to be inserted, eliminating the risk of leakage. We can also supply fibre glass coloured pedestals at the standard cost plus 10%. There is a delivery delay on these of up to 10 weeks.

We ocasionally have cheaper second quality ceramic pedestals available for AUD$285. The availability of second quality pedestals is not guartanteed. The pedestal is catagorised as second quality when there are minor surface imperfections on the outside which would not affect the sanitary performance of the pedestal.
