Composting Toilet Systems: Compact

The self contained Compact N-L was designed to provide toilet facilities at minimum cost in low volume situations. It is in high demand for weekenders, outdoor work situations and with people needing toilet facilities in temporary accommodation whilst building their home. It is worth noting that the Compact N-L can be converted into the Weekender by purchasing some of the Weekender components. The Compact N-L is not approved for permanent use.

Unlike conventional composting toilets it sits on the toilet room floor and requires no space beneath the floor. The Compact N-L range comes complete with everything required for installation, except for reasons of freight cost, the external vent pipe and absorption trench materials, which can be obtained from your hardware shop for about $80.

Included in the standard Compact N-L 2 Package are:

• 2 small composting chambers (54 cm high x 40 cm diameter). The chambers double up as pedestals.
• Black plastic seat.
• Ventilation system including 12 volt fan and transformer.
• Easy to follow installation and maintenance manual.

The Compact N-L 3 Package includes all components of the Compact N-L 2, plus it has an extra composting chamber for higher volume use and cooler locations.
